OOC: I just wanted to say that I really do understand the problems your friend is having, seeing as I have been guilty of plenty of self-harming myself. I sympathise with it being a really tough problem to conquer, but you can definitely do it! Things do get better, there are many different resources and better coping mechanisms to discover - including this project. Even if you might think it’s a bit silly, it’s not a waste of time.
